Impact 4 Change is a mental health counseling service for BIPOC by BIPOC therapists and seeks to provide a safe, judgement-free place for communities of color to meet life changes in healthy and productive ways without fear of being over-pathologized. Impact 4 Change envisions a rich learning environment where budding mental health professionals of color can gain critical experience to help them grow and develop while offering needed support to the community.
“The mentoring and coaching programs offered by the Coalition to Back Black Businesses have helped to increase my business acumen and the $5,000 grant allowed us to launch a more professional website and take care of overhead. We plan to use the enhancement grant to expand our team, enhance marketing, and offer a number of pro-bono sessions.”
